Pomeroy Projected Big Ten Wins: (and change from last week)
1. Purdue: 16.44 (+0.38)
2. Michigan State: 15.57 (-0.82)
3. Michigan: 15.33 (+0.80)
4. Wisconsin: 13.31 (-0.41)
5. Maryland: 12.75 (-1.10)
6. Iowa: 10.63 (-1.32)
7. Ohio State: 9.01 (+0.24)
8. Minnesota: 8.58 (+0.56)
9. Illinois: 7.81 (+0.18)
10. Rutgers: 7.79 (+0.83)
11. Indiana: 7.17 (+1.42)
12. Penn State: 6.23 (+0.41)
13. Nebraska: 5.69 (-0.12)
14. Northwestern: 3.69 (-0.95)

*Biggest winners: Indiana (+1.42), Rutgers (+0.83), Michigan (+0.80)
*Biggest losers: Iowa (-1.32), Maryland (-1.10), Northwestern (-0.95), Michigan State (-0.82)

*It would be the most 2019 Big Ten thing ever if Purdue loses at Northwestern on Saturday. Otherwise, they seem to be cruising towards the Big Ten Championship.

*Indiana is suddenly good again? Not really. They had two extremely narrow wins at home, which raised their efficiency ranking from 49 to 48. Still, they did get off their slide into oblivion, which is more than can be said for Nebraska or Northwestern. Kudos to Illinois, Rutgers, and Penn State for continuing to show late-season relevance. Nobody wants to play any of them.

*The 7 seed is still in play for Illinois if they can rally and win two games this week. Of the double-bye teams, the one we'd want to play right now is Michigan State. I'm not going to try to predict tournament seeds or scenarios yet because it is such a mess. Maybe I'll look at it on Friday. I will say though that Maryland still has a shot at the double-bye.

*Every Big Ten team is in the Top 75 in efficiency rankings. Illinois has a NET ranking of 92, so we'd have to win probably at least 4 more games to even get in the NIT conversation.

*We need to beat Indiana on Thursday. That team can't be allowed to make the NCAA Tournament, just on principle.
