I've watched Tate as much as everyone here, and I've read all the disparaging comments thrown his way.
That said, watching him play yesterday it was astounding to me how he seemingly purposefully looks to avoid shooting, even when wide open and a shot would be in the natural flow of the possession.
It seems like Groce would want him to shoot, if only to keep the defense honest and open the interior.
Can Brad or someone rationally explain this, without saying something like "1-29"?
