The Fighting Illini will hold an open practice at Memorial Stadium on Saturday, March 4, at 11 a.m. (practice should begin at about 11:20). Admission and parking are free. It will be the first and only chance this spring for fans to get a look at Lovie Smith's squad.

» Practice will begin at 11:20 a.m. inside Memorial Stadium* and last about two hours.» Admission is free and tickets are not required.» Free parking is available in the Northwest quadrant at State Farm Center.» Only the west side of Memorial Stadium will be open to public (West Main).
» Fans should enter through Gate 24 on the west side. » Concession stands will not be open.» There is no live or tape-delayed TV coverage of the practice.» Coaches and student-athletes will sign autographs on the field following practice for 20 mins.
* In the event of inclement weather, practice may be moved inside to the Irwin Indoor Practice Facility, where space is limited for spectators.
NOTE: This is not a traditional spring game or scrimmage. It's a normal practice that is open to the public.
