The examples that wins come from good QB play is almost overwhelming.
The most recent example of star QB= winning team is the two NFL conference championship games: Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger were the QBs for the 4 teams. Other than Cam Newton in a good year or Russel Wilson, is there any other QB in the NFL you would prefer to those 4?
The QB is also the key for the Illini. I hope our JUCO transfer is at least adequate because there is no one else on the roster that is capable of an 8 win season. That means that the first and most important recruit for 2018 HAS to be a QB. Never too early to start that discussion.
