The story has broken about the hazing at PSU. The final story is that there may be a federal lawsuit to enforce that. So, the question is, how common is that on a football team. This is a seniors versus freshman thing. Any type of large organization with a developed culture probably has some sort of subtle to overt type of hazing.
Does some of the blame belong to the freshman who may have been sensitive? Did the seniors go overboard? Or does the entire system need to be dismantled.
Some interesting questions, and this seems to be another story that will cause the average behavior of many teams to flow closer to Lovie and his determined but somewhat professionally laid-back way of motivating his team. Any thoughts?
