Turnovers kill. This team has to play almost perfect football to have a chance.

Defense didn't play badly, but you could see the freshmen pushed around on every play. That really adds up in the late third/fourth quarters.

The o-line is a mystery. It's like they can only do 1 thing right at a time: today the misdirection run game that McGee likes was okay early, with a spectacular drive in the first half for a TD. Then in the second half they looked like they'd never pass blocked before. Granted, no one was ever open downfield but I've NEVER seen a QB take as many full speed hits from untouched defenders like George did today.

Speaking of George, the throws are there. He was poised and aside from 2-3 stinker throws wasn't bad. On his fumble he was running for his life.

Turner will be likely be out next week, Crouch had shoulder surgery and is done for the year, and Vaughn has a bad ankle (which probably explains why we don't see him much). Grant seems to have some kind of rapport with George, but somebody else will need to step in.

Green IIRC either led the D in tackles or was second.
