Groce informed Monday’s crowd that Adam Fletcher will join the program as the strength and conditioning coach, replacing Mike Basgier, who resigned recently to take a job at James Madison, his alma mater.
Fletcher spent the previous three years as the director of strength and conditioning at Towson. Fletcher has also spent time with the basketball program at Michigan, as well as IMG Academy and Miami (Ohio), where he starred on the basketball team.
A 6-foot-9 center, Fletcher helped lead the Redhawks to a Mid-American Conference championship in 2007 and in 2010 was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year.
