Bio: Jeff Karzen was a sports writer at daily newspapers in Michigan and Illinois for eight years. He has covered everything from high school sports to the Big Ten to pro sports. A long time follower of recruiting, he has also written about recruiting for many publications over the years. Karzen is the author of "Homer: The Small-Town Baseball Odyssey," a true story about a record-setting high school baseball team in Homer, Michigan. He is an Evanston native and currently lives in Chicago.
