Babers hires Sterlin Gilbert away from a HC job at McNeese and fires him today. There has to be more to this story because Gilbert was with Babers at EIU and made Jimmy G. the QB that was drafted in the First Round and then went with Babers to Bowling Green. I never watched Syracuse, but in the article I read, the offense appeared to improve from last year. I think Babers is doing whatever he can to keep his job. He's still on thin ice, so he may have trouble finding anyone better.
