Seems like the Bears could be in a good spot to move down a bit and pick up extra draft slots, which they desperately need. I'd be a bit disappointed if they use the 3rd pick on a defensive back. Bears don't need one talent, they need many talents all over the field. Maximize your picks in the Top 100, not the top of the draft.
Mike Glennon certainly isn't a quarterback signing that set the world on fire. I get it. I also don't understand some of the backlash against it, especially from a contract standpoint. NFL quarterbacks are expensive, there weren't a lot of options, Bears have a ton of cap space and while the initial number is big, the guarantee isn't that big and the dead cap hits are not really significant moving forward. They would be well served to trade down, pick up additional picks in 2017 and 2018, and use one of those picks on a mid-round quarterback or if one of the higher rated ones slips to the start of the second round.
