my Verizon contract expired a couple of months ago. I called them about a new phone, contract and my account. Turns out if you call them when your 2 years are up and you don't replace the phone (staying out of contract) they will reduce your bill by $25 a month. I never knew that and have never seen it advertised. So if you have spent your two years with them and don't want a new phone, give them a call.
