OT: former Illini asst. Ron West let go at Ga. Tech

I would like to see Ron come back to Illinois. Has a good rep as a recruiter in the SE, especially SC. Coached both lines and LB's in his career. Also let go at Tech is Andy McCollum, former HC at Middle Tenn. Great rep as a recruiter, again in the SE US. Another coach with a solid resume. Hire McCollum for LB"s and hire West to help Clark on the DL. Hire Van Malone as DB's coach and let Lovie be the DC and at least the Illini would have solid recruiters on the defensive side for recruiting in SC, GA. and TX.
