2016 WR Harry Ballard, Florissant (MO) McLueur North. Ballard is a stud, but he has some work to do academically.
2018 DT Michael Thompson, St. Louis Parkway North. Big, physical kid. Illinois is first to offer, but he will have a bunch of Power 5 offers eventually.
2019 OL William Putnam, Chatham (Ill.) Glenwood. Illinois was smart to get in early on this kid. He's 14 years old and already 6-foot-4, 232 pounds. Big frame and moves very well. Future 4-star candidate.
I talked to Dana Howard at the camp, and he was excited about being on the Hall of Fame ballot. He didn't hear about it until everyone else did when the ballot was published on the social networks.
Illini commit Kentrail Moran stayed for the entire camp, and was busy talking to other kids about Illinois.
East St. Louis OL Trevour Simms was at the camp but didn't work out. Illinois offered.
