I am out at the Lindenwood Mega Camp in St. Louis today and so is the entire Illinois coaching staff, incl. Lovie Smith. One of the top performers so far has been East St. Louis OC Javontez Spraggins, who has added three offers today I’m told, and one of those was from Illinois. This is Spraggins first Power Five offer. It won’t be his last. He’s a powerful offensive lineman who can move his feet pretty well for a big guy. His teammate, Antonio Johnson, was telling me Javontez put up 315 about 12 times on the bench press earlier this week.
