Safety James Johnson from Arizona State. Johnson graduates in May and is eligible immediately. He is described as an extremely athletic safety with a lot of versatility. He just didn't find himself in the rotation defensively at Arizona State. I know safety is not the largest position of need; however, adding athleticism in the secondary appears to be a priority.
The only reason I am bringing this kid up is that Lovie and staff put an emphasis on athleticism, and this kid has all the tools to fit a role.
