Not really news but this follows last year's game which was only on BTN. In the good ole days, this important national-level game was on a coast-to-coast channel like regular ESPN or ESPN2 which is not "regionalized". Many Illini fans will not be able to see the televised border war game unless they pay to upgrade their available regional sports channels. I suspect that the more rural area cable companies will not even offer the SEC channel. I have Directv via satellite but I had to select a more pricey all-included package in order to get the BTN down here in Florida along with the more popular SEC network. I am talking regular television and not streaming via computer or smartphone app.
