Reading the national and regional football media one would think the Illini are doomed to another dismal year while reading many of our posts predictions range from agreeing with the aforementioned media to predicting 7-8 wins.
Looking at the schedule I see two games where we will be favored and should win ( Kent/ W ILL)
I also see two games that I believe are unwinnable ( Penn State/ Wisc.)
The remaining 8 games will see Ill. as the underdog to a lesser or grater degree but none of them are unwinnable.
I could reasonably see us winning 3-4 of these games which would give us a 5-6 win season.
beyond that seems a reach
