I got an interesting perspective from a fellow Big Ten alumnus last night.
His take on Lovie is that Illinois will be fine going forward. Regarding his school, he said the mob was ready to fire his school's coach earlier this season because he never beat a ranked team. Suddenly, they are one win and an Ohio State win away from the Big Ten championship game.
