But again, this is a nobody crazies have seized on to create a phony story to support Russia. Ukrainians voluntarily decided to move away from Russia over the course of more than a generation and a multitude of democratic elections.

Zelenskyy himself is a Russian speaker from the part of Ukraine historically more favorable to Russia. Eastern Ukraine voted for him at a much greater level than the far more antagonistic to Russia western Ukraine.

Because this shit is nuts, no matter how much you’d like to believe it. Almost every conspiracy with proof gets uncovered, like the attempt to hide the source of Covid.

Most likely Ukraine blew up Nordstream btw. But there’s no definitive answer. If it was us, Trump could reveal it tomorrow. His troops would love that shiz.

But that doesn’t matter, you haven’t bothered to rebut one of the factual statements I made about the modern history of Ukraine. The “coup” you cite (which wasn’t a coup) happened near the end of the term of Yanukovich, who was super unpopular btw. Eight years and 2 Presidents later, Russia invaded.

I don’t see how anything about the 2014 change in government had a single thing to do with Putin deciding to invade almost a decade later. What it did do was allow him to justify taking Crimea and fund separatist groups in the Donbas. But that conflict was frozen for years before the invasion.
