Obviously I love the idea that *if* we have to make a change we're getting indications resources and desire to play at another level won't be an issue. Odd thing is, as I look through the names I consider "realistic", there are many that I personally would rather have Bryce Drew. Let's go through the names of current top 25 kenpom power 5 coaches for fun. "likelihood" of move is relative and assuming a HUGE offer.

Jay Wright - Current salary, $2.7. I believe he's an East Coast guy and he has Villanova rolling. Hard to imagine the jump at this point, so I'll rank his likelihood of a move at a 3. Would I rather have than Drew, Of course.

Roy Williams - no happening at all

Tony Bennett - $2.1M. Obviously has it rolling, but in part with 2 seniors, however last three classes solid if not spectacular. Likelihood of move 6. Seems like a more mature version of Drew, so I'd take him first as the safer pick.

Bill Self - Not happening

Lon Kruger - $2.7M. Intriguing. Would he "deal with" Chicago again? Would he be received differently? Does he know Josh from his time here? Likelihood of move 4. Save us "again" Lon!

Tom Izzo - Not happening

Coach Cal - Not happening

Bob Huggins - $3.2M ... a bit of a nomad and can't argue with success. Doesn't seem to "fit" JW. Likelihood of move 4? I think I'd prefer someone else, even Drew, but I could get on board quickly

Rick Pitino - Not happening, IMO

OK, that's the top 10 (Marshall not P5). I'll add 11 - 20 later.
