Illinois 'called them', doesn't mean they called to inquire about them transferring to Illinois. For example, in a convo with their HS or AAU coach they ask, 'where is player X going?', doesn't mean Illinois wants him.
I've heard of 3 transfers this summer where people connected them to Illinois and Illinois had no interest.
