The first member of Iowa’s 2018 football recruiting class became the first recruit to de-commit from that class.
Mike Bruner, a linebacker from Mequon, Wisconsin, indicated in an announcement on Twitter that he was re-opening his recruitment.
“I feel I committed too early and believe it is in my best interest to take more time to make my decision,’’ Bruner wrote. “With that said, I am reopening my recruitment.’’
