Illinois offers ESL prospect

East St. Louis coaches are reporting Illinois is the first offer for 2017 QB Rey Estes. Had not heard a lot of buzz about Estes since fall, but that was probably because ESL's season was shortened due to a teacher strike. We had seen him each of the last two off seasons and he showed some potential, but will have to see him this off-season to get an updated scouting report.
