I mean, it is still my favorite sport, and I think it is important that the NCAA creates rules that treats student-athletes fairly, but....
it is circus. With virtual free agency with COVID transfers, the extra year of eligibility, and grad transfers, etc., the NIL, and the NCAA refusal to sanction egregious cheating, the whole damn thing is a sh!tshow. Some might argue that it has always been this way, but I like the old days of watching kids stay in the program for 3-4 years, treasure the college experience and the communities where they live, and develop a sense of pride in their university. Maybe I am getting old and nostalgic. Maybe I am still reeling from the crushing end to the season. Maybe I am panicking with the potential loss of most of our roster from 20-21. I don't know, but I really don't like any of it.
