Where is there a ban? I just see restrictions. Honestly, if they would ban all street preachers of all faiths that would be fine with me. They are annoying and I am a Christian.

There are many ways to spread the gospel that are more effective than having someone yelling on a street corner.

I am not defending them. My point is that I don’t see a ban that was in your original post.
I understand that street preachers have the right to freedom of speech. However, they don't have the right to get in people's faces or shout slurs.
It is interesting how MAGA posters on this board get upset with proposed restrictions on street preachers in a small district in England but are fine with Trump trampling on basic freedoms here in the US.

First, they don't have the same freedom of speech we do. Our way is better for individuals, on that I entirely agree.
Second, it's also reality that most of the "freedom of speech" blow-ups in England in recent years result from local governments (who have a small level of authority) taking actions you and I find to be abhorrent limitations of individual expression. So while I agree these kind of things are actually bad and troubling, their impact may be extremely limited. That doesn't dilute the political point that it's dangerous for an authority to be able to push such restrictions, but it also doesn't mean that all of England is a breadth away from rampant censorship.
Finally, considering the amount of speech restrictions those on the MAGA right prefer to impose on their opposition (not talking about you here, I understand you are a Ron Paul-libertarian type), it's very clear that the benefit of speech restrictions blunts both the left and the right from acting like cretins.

I am not calling for anyone to be silenced. Although, I don’t believe any protestors should be allowed to block traffic.
If people are using bullhorns to intentionally disrupt others outside of normal time/place restrictions, then they should definitely be silenced.
If they are standing in a public place screaming racial epitaphs at others two hundred feet away, then they can yell until the cows come home, no matter how much we approve or don't (there are still time and place limitations that can come into play). If you are yelling directly into someone's else face over and over, then it's a harassment issue and not a speech issue.
Maybe it's better to say that you have far more freedom to be a complete DBag than you do to merely be disruptive.

There are definitely more effective ways to spread the gospel. The street corner stuff is like putting Chick tracts on urinals thinking you were doing the Lord’s work. At the same time, I understand everyone has a right to free speech and protest. Many years ago (about 30) I was in a car at a traffic corner where we had a couple of neo-nazi’s protesting against Jews and welp, my Jewish wife was in the passenger seat. They looked stupid. It wasn’t worth protesting them protesting. That’s what they wanted. I can think of religious things that are much more troublesome than a street preacher.

I have better things to do with my time than listen to prayers at graduation ceremonies. At the same time, I allow it, because if these clergy of different faiths/religions are truly being genuine in their blessing of the graduating class, then why would I have an issue with it? Why do people like you think getting offended is a right? Getting offended is a form of a weapon against free speech and the right of religious freedom and expression.
