I do know this from talking to my son, the overseas suppliers are consistently offering to give up pricing on their side to keep the business in lieu of the tariff added to the product. If the tariffs lower in negotiations with the US, there will be no raising their cost back up. US companies and consumers will win either way.
Sure, there will be some price increases here or there depending on where this lands, but there are also some very nice wins for the US that are not discussed.

As for MAGA, they most certainly do NOT control Congress at all. Republicans - you know, the party you say you will vote for if its not Trump in 2028 - control the House and the Senate. They have largely been a disappointing group since 1994 whether in the majority or minority. Thus far, they have been completely worthless in the first 100 days.
