NBA players can run ball screens all the time because most NBA ballhandlers are talented enough to take huge advantage of mismatches and they all know how to pass off of their drives. Everyone on an NBA team generally understands where everyone else is on the floor, as spacing is paramount in the NBA.
I just don't get the feeling that Groce is really teaching these guys how to play good team basketball. They don't know why they're doing what they're doing, and they don't know how to execute off of what they're doing.
