I’ve seen multiple videos of Trump staff promising Epstein arrests. Instead we’re arresting college aged women for writing something the administration doesn’t agree with. Slippery slope.

If you are a foreign car buyer prices are certainly going to rise. It alls comes down to supply and demand. I see lots of cars sitting unsold on dealer lots. Also, I've never seen the definition being used for applying the tariffs. Is it just on fully build cars or some components as well that then are assembled in plants here in the US?

I get the impression that US auto manufacturers are going to pull more components stateside. Of course it depends if the tariffs go through or not. Lots of “foreign” cars are Made in America. Honda, Kia, Nissan, Toyota, etc. I doubt all the parts are USA made.
Prices on almost all cars will increase substantially since all cars use foreign parts. If these tariffs are put in place, the economy is screwed. Inflation and a recession what could be better.
Also, repair costs will increase as well. The gift that keeps on giving

Repair costs have already skyrocketed. Profits in the service dept have been incredible for a few years. Extended warranty losses have been horrible.
You ok out on that ledge? You may want to take a break from the MSM, before you jump. Might want to try and pace yourself for the next few years.
If you actually read your CNBC article you would realize you are wrong. TDS is a powerful drug.
It says the tariffs will apply to built up vehicles imported from foreign countries and to large components like engines and transmissions imported for assembly in the US (and possibly some components not mentioned). If Ford and GM make their powertrains in the US and assemble the vehicles in the US, then they largely (or wholly) avoid the tariffs. There also is a waiver for the USMCA, meaning Mexico and Canada, that applies the tariff to purchased foreign components, which again probably is mainly powertrains but could be more.
So if you only buy Toyota cars and they are imported from a foreign country then it's 25%. If your favorite Toyota is assembled in the US, Mexico or Canada it probably is less but who knows how much. If you are willing to buy Ford or GM then your cost may not go up at all except the supply is going to get constrained and they won't be able to not raise prices some.
Fortunately left wing buyers only purchase American made Teslas, so they won't be affected
