Forget it….

The wonderful Chief Justice doesn't get it. He's personally responsible for claiming Obamacare was just a tax. Think about how much more expensive healthcare is for everyone after that bill passed. Indeed the Constitution allows for Judges to be impeached, Chief Justice Roberts.

As a side note, there are already Republicans in the House working on impeachment for Boasberg and another Judge on a different matter. Trump should stay out of it and let the House Republicans take care of it.

You never heard of FEMA? Really?

Here is another one: staffing cuts at the NOAA leading to less timely warning of severe weather leading to higher death counts. You think the public will be ok with that?

Again, not saying it will happen. Nobody knows the true impact of these cuts presently.

I have little faith that the staffing cuts are being carried out in a thoughtful manner.

You have full faith in Trump and Co. Hope you are right.
I've heard of FEMA. I've heard that under the brain-challenged President you voted for, FEMA was not helpful to Trump supporters in Western Carolina or Eastern Tennessee. Here's another waste of Taxpayer money.

Same Fema that left the people in NC to fend for themselves?

I could see some minor impacts from the government, but we finally have a politician willing to actually cut spending. People will be celebrating.

Lets say he only cuts a trillion from annual spending by year two, will you say you were wrong?

FEMA isn’t emergency response. It’s emergency management, whatever you want to make of that. Or as we’ve recently seen, emergency mismanagement.

If DOGE cuts 1 trillion with minimal impact on government services, then I will admit I was wrong.

Character only matters in Presidential politics when it’s the candidate you didn’t vote for.
It so happens that I believe Character matters in ALL presidents, if we/I vote for them or not !

Republican or Democrat should be of good sound moral character.

Bush Sr and Truman might have decent records of this. I have not investigated those 2.

My GMC/Buick dealer was questioned by GMC if he wanted to remain a part of their Dealer network ?

To do so they were required to purchase an SUV that was EV totally, retail cost $ 125,000 +.

It sits there on the floor of the dealer !

The Senator could have exchanged his Tesla for MANY other makes of EV to save our Planet !

He Failed !

President Trump CAN state his opinion that Federal Judges at any level can be Impeached !

It's called The First Amendment !

There are two mechanisms that allows removal of Federal Judges; Impeachment is one !

You’re right. The First Amendment doesn’t stop someone from looking stupid and unprofessional, just as Trump has done here.

Roberts is exactly right. Judges have been impeached for committing crimes not for disagreeing with the president. House can waste their time and look like fools for impeaching judges. It is not going anywhere in the Senate needing 67 votes to convict.

Trump aspires to be a dictator. Removing disagreeable judges is right out of any dictator's playbook.

Even a Democrat understands how bad of a decision this Boasberg made.

I agree with this. Wasting time was mentioned above, and some of these lower court judges are wasting the time of SCOTUS and POTUS, 2/3 of our government branches, by making ludicrous rulings with no serious basis in law, simply to hinder another part of the government from from their lawful actions. It's a weak link in our system. Of course we don't want to go too far the other way and prevent judges from flagging genuinely unlawful conduct. It's a difficult problem to address, but there needs to be some accountability. Just having a wrong righted somewhere down the road by SCOTUS isn't enough, there needs to be accountability.

Trump announces new Service Academy Boards'

General Flynn to West Point !

Charlie Kirk to Air Force !

Charlie is famous for not being a college grad.

The DEI professor at West Point that was a patient of Mary Anne is NO longer employed there !

Editorial from a RW paper. Pretty much agree with all of it.

Jeff is now defending illegals who are murdering and raping our young daughters and sons. Of course, Jeff does not have any kids, so no skin off his ass.

Keep it up Jeff! You and your party are on track to garner less than 20 percent support. All because of super random judges who are usurping executive power knowing they are out of line.

Problem is, they’re only disagreeing for political reasons.

Either you didn't read it or you don't have the ability to understand the written word very well.

The editorial likes the idea of the flights but deems it prudent to make sure all legal issues are settled. It is called following the rule of law. Something Trump would like to abolish when it suits his purpose.

Trump is using the Alien Enemies Act in a novel way. You didn't think it wouldn't be subject to judicial scrutiny?

I don’t remember this type of organized terrorism when the Republicans lost.

And you don’t hear many on the left condemning this.
You say it is organized without proof. A few nuts. Oh how about for you—“you have to March to the Capitol and fight like Hell, I will March with you” You have a bad case of memory loss!

I hope this is a bad joke. These appointments and Trump are sickening

Yeah, it was only mentioned briefly, but in the post-911 era throwing the terrorist label around, and associating 'disinformation' with terrorism, is one of the worst thing our government has done because those labels can be applied to citizens to strip them of any modicum of due process. I don't have so many qualms when they are used against members of foreign criminal organizations effectively sent here by a foreign government to enact their brand of terrorism on US soil. I don't blame anyone for cheering on the deportations becuase we don't want those people here, at least I don't, and I don't think this one should should take long to sort out.

Political parties / leaders should be pressured to take ownership of those who act on their behalf. Do they support it, or disavow it?

There is a growing support for political violence in America, and in the West in general. That is undeniable. Spinning acts of violence as outliers doesn't wash anymore. It makes people sound like Baghdad Bob.

What was he supposed to do? The law exists, they made a case for it's applicability, and executed it. Someone challenged it, the challenge is being heard. That's the only way it can work. Does POTUS need to contact and get the permission of every federal judge in the United Sates before he does anything?
