In AZ we get a lot of migrants from California. I'm hoping Trump builds a wall on our Western border before we become a blue state.
This seems like a legit topic of discussion. Did Ackman twist enough to make the paid protest fit the narrative of a political commercial or these types of non-organic protests just keep happening as they are? Thoughts?

Pardon the language. Anonymous call brings dangerous situation with trigger happy SWAT member and ends horribly. This BS could actually be stopped by finding the anon caller and prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law. Essentially attempted murder since the desired outcome from the swatter is that SWAT pulls a Rambo on an innocent person.

Local PD's should most likely not have SWAT teams, due to the lack of training and psych evaluations for members.
NJSP has SWAT teams, they are almost all comprised of ex-military personnel, with the prerequired training skills.
NYPD has a special SWAT like unit on patrol in every Borough 24 x 7, to respond to emergencies beyond the training and necessary equipment available to normal patrol officer !
I remember my application to one SWAT team, that I had a grievance written as the opening AND closeout of the application was while I was on vacation in Utah skiing !
Then I saw a team drilling !
6 - 8 guys were hanging at the ends from 50 feet ropes from a helicopter at several hundred feet OVER the ocean. They flew over to a 2 story building to drill entry from rooftops, the chopper hovered as the guys hanging at the bottom of the ropes landed on the roof !
I remembered that the NJSP chopper pilots got additional flight pay ! While the guys hanging off of the chopper at the bottom of ropes, that had been supplied from the LOWEST bidder were all volunteers !
I withdrew my grievance !

I remember when Democrats were protectionists and Republicans were for unfettered free trade. The political landscape has undergone a radical change.
There has to be a balance between both protectionism and free trade. Unfettered free trade has been a disaster turning America into a service based economy even making us dependent on Chinese technology manufacturing.
Correct, but it’s hard to find “American goods” because the diehard free traders sent most of US manufacturing out of the US.
This is a false narrative. Trump has provided many people with his personal good will asking for nothing in return. Jennifer Hudson is one of many examples.

I am not timing the market. I am doing a rebalance. I am 60% fixed 40% equity. I had to move some money back to fixed and wanted to do it at the best time for the short term.
I find it very heartening that you can remember my numerous stories !

3. He's a cancer survivor !
