I note that I am trying to get an "enhanced" NYDL , to be able to fly WITHIN the USA !
So far, I have been TWICE to the local NYDMV office, with MORE forms of ID required !
My ACTUAL NYDL is NOT sufficient !
But I had NO issue voting showing NO ID !

Trump, DOGE, Various Departments ARE attempting to "claw" back funds. Some of the efforts have been a success and Cancelled, some have been fought in Federal Courts, some have been held up by various Federal Judges, some Federal Judges have overturned other Federal Judges.
The NEXT Federal Budget will not have these mis-appropriations.........we can always hope !
I note that various publications are reporting that the DEP has either clawed back or stopped payments of $ 20,000,000,000 BILLION of dollars.......BUDGETED !

Actually, Julie, I am smart enough not to buy one. I have a hybrid, a PHEV and a twin turbo vehicle. There is nothing Tesla makes that suits my personal taste. Dems strategizing is just name calling and protesting/vandalism/threats. They cannot win on substance.
Yeah, insane. They should lose any tax exempt status that they possess. I have zero problem with them getting money from Pepsi and Kellogg Corps. However, they really don't care about heart health.
I also was a big fan of Winston Cup racing! Sponsorship by Winston/RJR did not force me to smoke. Similarly, all of these Big Pharma pill-pusher commercials don't inspire me to take their drugs.
Trump voters are TOO smart to buy EVs. The I-10 between Phoenix and Tucson seems to get shut down all the time (accidents). My buddy returning to Tucson saw 4 dead EVs on the side of the road. They likely had sufficient charge to make their trip, but insufficient charge to weather a 2-4 hour delay. LOL.
No one in Arizona who intends to leave Phoenix should get an EV.
The Tesla cars are nice looking with great technology and interior. I just can't get past the exterior of the Cyber Truck. It is hideous.
I look forward to the self driving stuff. Not sure I will ever own a Tesla, but could depending on if it suited my purpose.
