I wonder if it were possible to uncover the whole bare bones truth if this isn't among those "protest" activities that are funded by groups or individuals whose motivations have nothing to do with free expression rights. In the attached article on the 20yr old who disappeared in the DR, supposedly updated this am at 6:15 ET, they show a blurred surveillance picture from during the day at the resort showing her and the young man who last saw her. Except the actual video of them walking out to the beach on the night she disappeared has been officially released and published yesterday. His name, age, picture, and home state are being reported but not by CNN and several other "news" organizations. She disappeared on the morning of March 6, that is almost a week ago. There is some strange protocol where they won't report anything about this person but will report mistruths about people they disagree with politically.
Anyway, the second link is to an interview with a young lady who stayed at the resort during the same time. Power outages, no water in the rooms, basically a nightmare experience. At the 5 minute mark she talks about how there is no light on the beach so it is very dark. She says the waves were very big on Wed and Thurs, and Thursday morning is when the 20yr old disappeared. She said they had a red flag out Thursday night.
The young man is 24 yrs old and from Iowa, another college student. The released video shows him walking with his arm around the young lady in a group heading toward the beach at 4am. His story is they got in the water and he left cause he got sick, although there are reports this story has allegedly changed several times. There is more speculation but if they did just come from the hotel bar and were drunk, going into a rough surf ocean is a sure way to risk drowning. I think unless they find the body, this one is going to end as a messy mystery.
