Forget it….

The New York Times copied Trump/DOGE policies this week !

The NYT is "restructuring" internally !

They have notified their Editorial Board to take the OFFERED BUYOUT, or find another job at the paper, which is not hiring presently !

Last time I was up there(many years back) I stayed a friends place, a farmstead/homestead built by the Swedish or Norwegian immigrants that settled the site and had the old sauna sitting on the edge of the pond. A lot of wolves howling at night( may have been wolf dogs)
I never heard that term before so I looked it up. Apparently, some animal experts consider dogs and at some types of wolves to be the same species. No wonder there are cross-breeds.

Massie applauded all the DOGE cuts and doesn’t want those budgeted for the next fiscal year. Seems to make sense to me.
It does. The only thing I can think of is Trump didn't want a government shutdown so he was fine leaving the levels the same. You can't shrink government that way. Perhaps instead of blasting Massie, he could send out an all caps message on TS about how he wants the budget to stay the same for the time being until all facts are gathered/department cuts are made and economic conditions grow more. I don't agree with it, but he could be a bit more transparent about it.

As a cult member I offer my full support to Trump.

If true that Massie voted for past CRs, this is a bad look for him.

At this time, if Collins/Murkowski/Mitch are expected to play ball, Massie should give Trump 6 months. After all, Trump destroyed Harris in a state with a 2x-Dem governor. Republicans can't rely on Democrat House members to keep dying to insure their majority (the worthless former Houston mayor died the night of the "State of the Union"). I say worthless because an AA friend of mine FROM Houston said what did that guy EVER do for the people in his area EVER? Answer: Nada.

He has been transparent that he wants about Trillion Dollar cuts to the Budget and increases in investment dollars into the USA, currently about $ 1.5 + Trillion.

If he wants about a Tril cut, why are there apparently no cuts?

Revisionist history. Gaetz is a lightweight. Dems were actually irritated that Trump replaced Gaetz with someone of Bondi’s experience and strength of character.
Bondi along with everyone in the Cabinet was picked for one reason alone, just the opposite of strength of character, they will do anything Trump tells them to do.

Meh. This chart of gas prices is very premature. Of course I expect the cost to go down eventually and much more significantly. Generally speaking, gas prices drop right after Christmas/New Year and continue the trend until Summer travel season. This is a wait and see.

I am more confident in an energy price decrease than other products and services. How do you rewind labor costs?

I am, too. I just think it’s premature when we aren’t even through the first quarter and they already have a graph comparing 2025 to entire years. Fuel prices coming down will be the biggest inflation stopper. Nothing gets anywhere without transportation whether it’s barges on rivers, trains, or semi trailers. Work on Diesel and gas.
