It's probably my age showing, but I'd much rather watch a predominately pro-style offense. Too much read option and QB running around and it starts to look like a HS game. Personal aesthetic preferences aside, I understand the game is changing and just hope we get guys that are true dual threats. Good defense's shut down offenses that are one-dimensional.
All that said, I think the line between pro-style offenses and read option, spread offenses gets a little more blurred every year and it's really nice to have a QB that can use his legs to make a defense pay when they play man and turn their backs. Balance, just looking for balance....
