I understand the new staff is not even assembled yet, but does anyone know if Lovie Smith / others have reached out to any prospective student athletes / high school coaches? I ask this understanding there are many factors in play such as evaluating what they currently have on the roster so far.
Will elite level Illinois athletes currently committed to other schools e.g. AJ Epenesa or Cole Kmet reconsider Illinois with the new staff in place?
