Talked to someone very tied in today. Said the Senate will go to the Republicans, but the House is up for grabs and will be very close. FYI.
Guess I was too wordy. 😃9:57 AM As we enter the final days of the election one thing I try to keep in mind is the next 4 years will be heavily influenced by who controls the Senate and House. Biden has expanded executive orders to a historic level, including unilateral handouts for college loans. But the Senate and House can still block or enable a lot of a president's agenda and the next 4 years will be no different.
I tried to find something this morning predicting who will get control but the closest was a prediction that the Repubs probably will get control of the Senate. The House appears like there are 23 races rated as tossup that will decide it. Lots of razor thin races at the moment.
Whomever wins the WH will inherit a mess. Biden has been the worst president in history so if it is Kamala, I don't have much hope for improvement. Trump will be better, but bozo the clown would be better. If he is elected I hope he gets a majority in both chambers so he can implement something like a border wall. Seems so simple.
It is getting tiring to have to read you incorrect lies. The economy is in very good shape:
Trump has a moronic plan to lower income taxes and raise tariffs. Enjoy the upcoming recession.
- Healthy GDP growth.
- Low inflation
- Low unemployment
- Stock market is strong
It comes down to this: you have no problem voting for an absolutely vile candidate and I do.
Which one is Arnold and which Danny DeVito ?
We have 4 similar cans (2 garbage, 2 recycle) that our 2 Grandsons have as a non paid chore to put out and return once a week .
Volunteer for Active Duty Service OR PD/FD !And as much as I want to see big cuts to government, that would mean a lot of people losing jobs. A not insignificant % of government workers don’t have the skills to easily move to the private sector. That would lead to a lot of short term pain.
A Congressman from Indiana?Talked to someone very tied in today. Said the Senate will go to the Republicans, but the House is up for grabs and will be very close. FYI.
At some point, taxes will have to be raised and government spending will have to be cut to get control of the federal deficit. The problem is that will never happen until the situation becomes much more dire. Heck, politicians can't even fix Social Security in a timely manner and that is a relatively easy fix.
A Congressman from Indiana?
The lady that was RFK's Jr VP candidate was just videoed in Calif, VOTING....... for Trump !Well, RFK had up to 8 percent support before endorsing Trump. His voters are most likely voting Trump, Stein, or no one. Tulsi is a harder one to quantify, but Calling her a stooge while thinking Tim Walz is great is pretty laughable.
Tulsi certainly makes a segment of voters consider Trump.
The Carter's made their living selling peanuts.Every peanut adds up to a lot of peanuts.
Trump has said he doesn't want to talk too specifically about his intentions regarding Ukraine/Russia and thereby tip his hand when it comes to whatever he intends to try diplomatically to end it. Maybe that was something he said in his convo with Rogan. I did listen to that, but generally don't listen to his stump speeches or interviews with contentious media. It’s fascinating that the candidates aren’t talking about the war in Ukraine when in fact it’s the driving force behind the oddball political alliances that arose during the campaign for President. Character issues are a smoke screen to gin up enthusiasm.
Billy pee’d in public at the Atlanta airport. I wasn’t old enough, but people told me Billy Beer tasted like piss. The Carter's made their living selling peanuts.
Until Billy Beer made it's appearance.
Getting shot is at the very least uncomfortable to the person shot !
Schafer !Billy pee’d in public at the Atlanta airport. I wasn’t old enough, but people told me Billy Beer tasted like piss.
Let's review the Military Service of past P and VP. Not a very spectacular list.Does Trump? Mr. Deferment.
I understand the point he was making. He could have made it without the violence. Keep defending the orange goof.
Maybe that's what they were serving at the Illini Inn back in the day, even though the taps said 'Stroh's'Billy pee’d in public at the Atlanta airport. I wasn’t old enough, but people told me Billy Beer tasted like piss.
Harris has none, except the cut and paste she made from Brandon's, so you can have tv time tonight.I have read it and disagree with about 75% of it. A great deal of it is short on specifics and represents objectives instead of actual policy
Like last time as # 45 ?Trump will destroy the economy with his moronic tariff plan.
Trump is not a policy guy. He flip flops constantly.
Trump saying he wants better health care is not a policy.
I suppose in the end it does not matter too much to me.
If Trump wins and the Republican party stays MAGA, I will
become a Democrat lean instead of a Republican lean and
will likely vote Democrat most of the time. I guess I will be shifting
with the demographic shifts between the parties.
I have No interest in viewing "Gladiator II" that I am noticing ad's for !Trump has said he doesn't want to talk too specifically about his intentions regarding Ukraine/Russia and thereby tip his hand when it comes to whatever he intends to try diplomatically to end it. Maybe that was something he said in his convo with Rogan. I did listen to that, but generally don't listen to his stump speeches or interviews with contentious media.
Dunno about Harris, her skills with political double-speak and using a mountain of words to say nothing whatsoever far exceeds the firmware capabilities of my decoder ring.
My opinion is that the collective demands of our populace is about what it was for the citizens of Rome at the height of the Gladiator days. Give us bread and violence and we'll be content. The accusations surrounding character and character assassinations are just a surrogate for the gladiators.
I haven't seen those. I did enjoy the first one.I have No interest in viewing "Gladiator II" that I am noticing ad's for !
Yes. Mr. Deferment clearly dislikes war. It’s almost as if you have willfully blinded yourself to the Trump foreign policies that stopped wars during his Presidency. Dick Cheney avoided serving in Viet Nam through deferments and a child. What a lucky F. My dad OTOH had to go to Nam after I was born. The “orange goof” didn’t make any comment of violence.Does Trump? Mr. Deferment.
I understand the point he was making. He could have made it without the violence. Keep defending the orange goof.
