I think there are some in Congress who want to try to lower costs by having multiple risk pools, but it has very little chance of papassing.

This is the key. Multiple risk pools will make insurance much more expensive for older folks.

Medicare Advantage vs Traditional Medicare is an interesting choice. Most people choose the Advantage plan because it is cheaper and has a wider range of benefits. If you never need serious medical care, it works out to your benefit.

However, if you have a serious and significant health issue then you are trapped. You have a small network of doctors and need preauthorizations for everything. I know a number of people who were happy with their Advantage plan until something serious happened and then they weren't. At that point, you can't change to Traditional Medicare because it is too expensive. Many people don't understand the tradeoffs until it is too late.

This is SPOT on, Jeff. Advantage is great until you have a real issue at which point you can't change.

Netanyahu has no power over Trump. Trump, if necessary, would absolutely incapacitate Iran, but it would be done swiftly. Iran has been after Trump after he became the nominee. It’s beleivable.
