Most of my professors in the business school at Illinois were conservative. Everyone else
was liberal.

Did I say nothing had changed? I was pointing out that even 40 years ago everything was mostly liberal. You know what? I was conservative when I entered college and was conservative when I left. Guess all the liberal brainwashing didn't work.

You don't learn from your mistakes and you keep voting for Trump. After watching the HBO documentary "Stopping the Steal", I am glad I voted for Biden in 2020. I originally planned to not vote in the presidential election but I will now likely vote for Harris. Trump is unfit for office.

I am well aware in such a blue state my vote has no impact. There are some Trump policies I don't like. I am against further tax cuts and I would like to see the original Trump tax cuts sunset as planned.

You are correct in many respects. The Trump party is populist and nativist. It is not a party I can support. Trump's economic plan to cut taxes and raise tariffs will actually hurt the economy.
