Hello All:

Rillaman (whom I correspond with via DM) asked me the other day if I was on here under a pseudonym. To be clear, I am not. I have not posted on this chain since around late September, when I decided it wasn't worth a single second of additional time of mine. Apparently someone is tormenting TJ (per Rillaman), which may be why when I came over here for the first time he mentioned me in three straight posts, which I found bizarre but maybe it wasn't. I am not that person, I have not thought about TJ since late September when I left here. I do not plan on renewing posting here, either. I do hope Best and several others are doing well.

Separately, congrats to Trump and his sycophants. Some of his appointments since winning the election have been outstanding, some have been hideously bad, including the guy who quit today and several other bootlickers who found their only way to prominence being the walk behind the Donald. There will be good and bad in a Trump Presidency, and there will definitely be absurdity. At least it will give you all plenty to talk about, I will be commenting on Illini sports on the other boards.

I’m very happy with the play mix and play calling this year. Illinois has looked like a different program on offense since the Purdue/Nebraska debacles in 2023. Starting with Maryland, something changed amongst those coaches about offensive aggression. Still a few too many middle runs (at least early in games, they are often more effective against a tired D), but huge improvement in what we are seeing on offense!

Agreed. The modification to the user ID is rather immature which is not something I associate with the Train! After all, the Train is willing to meet anyone in the Pizza Hut parking lot anytime. Hiding behind a fake userid is not his style. Hence, it is likely the pill pusher. My apologies to the train.
