I just can't believe people still pay close attention to polls after years of seeing they aren't accurate. I've said for years they are garbage, and I don't pay attention to them. Probably why I don't care about the lady throwing away her credibility, in an election where the left got their ass handed to them.

RCP average was pretty accurate. Trafalgar good. Rassmussen good. Atlas good.

He for sure will be reversing the Title IX. That was done through exec order. This is why the Repubs must work together the next 2 years. Get as much done in law as possible. Exec orders are easily wiped out by the next administration.

Military recruiting goals aren’t being met almost entirely because of a dramatic decrease in the pool of young people who are eligible to serve. Also because of endless wars. About 70% of young people who say they won’t consider the military site the possibility of serious injury or death, making it by far the most common reason.


Btw, the Marine Corps meets its annual recruiting goals. Army, Navy, and Air Force have been falling significantly short.

Grandson # 3 did not want college, but to learn a multitude of trades. Enlisted USN, but waited a year till he was guaranteed Sea Bees !

Signed with $ 35,000 bonus, now stationed Calif. Surfs and does Judo on off time and Stateside. Met a girl, now she's telling it's GI Bill for him ! She's at Cal-Berkley and then Law School somewhere.

The sanctuary cities will be an interesting dilemma. Trump will probably attempt to sword fight these guys with federal money. In the end, is it a bad thing if all the illegals flock to the sanctuary cities even more than they are now? Let the voters enjoy what they voted for. Biden could help those cities out with extra money. Trump will not. Get your popcorn ready!

Cities and even states do not have the jurisdiction to interfere with the Feds and immigration. That is a Federal jurisdiction. Sanctuary cities don't actually provide "sanctuary", they merely do not voluntarily cooperate with the Feds by reporting immigrants in their city for instance when they are arrested or released from jail. Sort of don't ask don't tell. Some cities like NY are dumb enough to guarantee financial support to the immigrants. If the Feds know the locations of the immigrants, they can seize and process under Federal law.

Joe Biden is going to go down as the worst President of all time if they release all of the information on the migrant crisis. The $$ spent flying them across the country, housing them, and the crime among our new migrant community....it will be unmatched in terms of self inflicted harm.

I would submit you are providing "sanctuary" if you don't inform the feds or give free handouts. If you are illegal and stay post Trump, it would make sense to move to a sanctuary city imo.

Currently there is no shortage of applicants to the Service Academies.
Even with the requirement of 5 years, minimum, of Active Duty, depending of their service job selection !

I was accepted at USNA and USMA from Manlius, but choose to attend a civilian University. Even in the late 60's with graduates entering Active Duty in the early 70"s (Viet Nam) there was never a shortage of applicants !

Kinda OT - almost every day I get a news feed from Fox and it almost always has the View hosts saying something outrageous. Yesterday it was Whoopi trashing a bakery in NY. Today it is a meltdown about MSNBC hosts visiting Trump.

I DON'T CARE. These are not intelligent people. What they say is not newsworthy. I try to ignore it, but maybe Fox should stop giving them publicity...
