sounds like Oregon is the team to beat for Dylan Ennis, with Illinois in 2nd place. However, Illinois is happy they are able to get a visit next week and they have been very good on visits, so they have a shot. Not hearing much Baylor talk.
-Jamall Murray to Oregon is also a possibility. Many people had assumed he was headed to Kentucky, but not so fast my friend. Would anyone really want to play with Briscoe if they are a PG or combo guard?
-The Lovett saga continues until he qualifies. I'm not sure he can get admitted at a few schools on his list right now, even with a good ACT score. However, the addition at Memphis may hurt their chances. St. John's and Illinois battle of admissions?
-Illinois really starting to hound a few big guys in 2016 and point guards, as well as a couple of dynamic wings. Expect them to give 3 in that class. Brunk, Benson, Cook, Rackocevic, Humphries, Narain, etc. all highly thought of. Sneed is a big priority on the wing, and Norvell also has an offer. Willie Jackson, a wing that plays with Simpson, is another 6'6 kid to watch. We've talked about the 3 PG's, Aiken, Gilbert and Simpson, and KJ Santos is a wild card as well.
-If Illinois can't get Ennis or Lovett for whatever reason, they still feel good about next season with Abrams at the point, but would like some insurance with him coming off of the knee injury.
