With where the program is right now Groce and his mid major buddies arent equipped for big time recruiting battles.
One thing BW did, was he realized he wasnt good enough to battle the big boys late in the game so he closed out on kids earlier in the process. I think Groce has to get early commitments from a 2 or 3 of the 2017 in state kids. I think Goodwin, Pickett and possibly Smith or Negron to get a solid foundation and even have a shot at TIlmon. Hopefully he is putting a full court press on Williams to commit before AAU ball starts, because I think nut punches will be in order if Groce and Co. have to bang against Kansas etc again.
