Hey, everyone, I'm in the press box already for Saturday's 11 a.m. kickoff against the Charolotte 49ers at Memorial Stadium. It's an ugly day in Champaign with rain in the forecast throughout the entire day. That should bode well for Illinois, assuming they are able to continue to run the football like they have in the last couple of weeks. Charlotte gives up about 200 rushing yards a game, so look for a healthy Chase Brown and Josh McCray to have some fun on the group today. Defensively, if Illinois can contain quarterback Chris Reynolds in the running game, Charlotte becomes much easier to defend. The Illini did a good job of that against Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovialioa, but were hit-and-miss against Nebraska's Adrian Martinez and Virginia's Brennan Armstrong this season. Let's have a day everyone!
