As has been discussed here, former Illini and current Loyola Academy coach John Holocek is in play for the LB coach job.
A guy to watch...Stanford tight ends coach Morgan Turner. He's from Champaign and is an Illinois graduate. He was a grad assistant at Illinois in 2004.
To a lesser extent...Thad Ward from the NIU staff. He coached tight ends for Cubit at WMU for one year. Coaches WR's for the Huskies.
