Consider these events:
1. Coleman-Lands looks like he could be a stud from Day 1. That never seems to happen for us. I don't know if he is a Melo Trimble type of difference-maker but it's still in play.
2. Leron Black could avoid missing any time with his injury.
3. Nunn injury is allowing Aaron Jordan to emerge. DJ Williams also looks good. 2015 class looks really good right now.
4. Signing day surprise is something positive and we get Kipper Nichols out of nowhere. (Good call on this, Brad.)
5. We actually have a coveted PG sign with us.
This is different from what I've known as an Illini basketball fan over the last decade.
