So now a senior LAS student has designed a new mascot and has presented it to the student government who seem to like it.
It's a Kingfisher.

At the end of the article, the student senator which spearheaded the Alma Otter vote movement was wrong when she said that all other 13 B!G schools have mascots. Indiana tried three and none of them lasted. Michigan tried a carton type wolverine in the late 90s and it's no where to be found.
