Another "misrepresentation". Homan's team gave advance notice, they announced that they were targeting 100 gang members. I also saw the same announcement about Chicago or another large city. Homan's crew announced they were targeting 100. I thought it was strange that they were using the same 100 number. A standard press release, I guess.

They are very publicity minded. Let face it, no one would be aware of their activity except the immigrants that are picked up or the families. So they have a large publicity effort. I read that not only are they misleading by referencing the number they are seeking rather than number caught, a lot of those actually caught have nothing to do with his team, but are just the usual number caught by law enforcement for crimes, and turned over to ICE upon release.
I am. This is way before warning labels. There were full page ads in every magazine of movie stars pushing cigarettes, and ads with Doctors urging cigarettes as a cure for upper respiratory illness. When I was attending Illinois, they would promote new brands by handing out free sample packs on Green Street.
I just read it again. It's just really fascinating how Trump could do this. As much as I wanted RDS to win the primary, he would not have created DOGE and had so many things coordinated. Trump had 4 years to stew about it and get the right people to plan it. I do have one question about the article. "But the real metric? Trust in government rising for the first time in 50 years." Where is this polling data that says this?

Makes sense. The problem with your comparison is the "expert" I posted had nothing to do with cigarette misinformation. Al Gore(my posted expert) was a hero leader of the left for Global Warming.

Fair enough. I do realize they promoted smokes prior to ‘66. You more than anyone should not trust government or Hollywood!
