...and in other news

It's called the power of deductive reasoning, which you completely lack. Pfizer won't publish the data, Pfizer wants a 75 year blackout of the data. Rill thinks this is OK - nothing to hide.

Those with a spine and the thing attached to it know Pfizer doesn't want the data published for a reason.

You asked if I would acknowledge Pfizer’s release.

Pfizer didn’t release anything. You fell for click bait and now you’re running in circles trying to win an argument that was a loser from the start.

This was a swing and miss, that’s OK. I don’t mind your curiosity about this stuff.

No, I highlight things that are wrong with both parties. That’s what independent people tend to do.

Dems have been annoyed over the last couple years when I have said their party is broken, and has no leadership.

Trump is going against GOP standards pretty regularly. Elon is an independent. Good for them.

White liberal men are constantly looking for approval from others. It’s why they end up supporting ridiculous things.

They are one step away from only wanting to date trans women to show how progressive they are.
My ex-liberal relative, who is also Jewish, is NOW firmly Conservative and has even gone so far as to cancel his New York Times daily subscription and switched to the New York Post for his daily news !

I tell him to not whip himself for his lifelong errors, but to re-educate his family !

Jewish people used to feel supported by the Dem party.

Now they know they are looked at as the oppressor class. I’ve had a couple progressive friends tell me that we should cut our support of Israel, if we are going to cut spending. Ask them if they support cutting funding to Israel AND Ukraine, and you get crickets.

Dumbest tweet ever. War against Russia is for Ukranian sovereignty and tradition. Read some of his other posts; this guy is a nut.

It seems like the war has been more about weakening Russia more than protecting Ukraine traditions.

I’ve heard on many occasions that this is a just war because it weakens Russia, and we aren’t using our troops. Very little about Ukraine traditions.

No doubt, but it sure seems weakening Russia is higher on the list.

Ukraine traditions don't seem all that important to us. They cancelled their elections. Their men are dying on the battlefield, leaving a weaker Ukraine.

I doubt we will ever know, but I just wonder how much of this could have been preventable with strong American leadership.

What Zelensky doesn't understand, and I think the US administration does understand, is war really only ends one of two ways:

1) Both combatants become fully exhausted simultaneously and agree to stop and make up. Even this might not end a war as we found out in 1918... it basically just resumed 20 years later.
2) One combatant truly conquers the other.

The UN thinks there's a third way and that's them telling everyone to "stop and lay down your arms". Result: Israel and Syria are still technically at war after 50 years from when they stopped fighting. The Korean peninsula is in a cease fire status but not at peace, etc.

Ukraine is not going to conquer Russia. No matter how this ends, there will still be a Russia. Short of that, we need to find out what Russia must have out of this and find a way to work through that.

This would be a step in the right direction. All states should have this.
I took a class in 7th grade that taught us about money and how to balance a check book, etc. I took several accounting classes in HS. We need reading, writing and math skills along with some science, basic biology and chemistry. Aside from that schools need to focus on getting kids ready to be productive citizens, as opposed to all the college prep BS. Get the kids in these poorer districts into the industrial arts. In rural districts more industrial arts. Need basic soldering skills, programing skills, building systems skills. Our current teacher workforce is ill-equipped for that.

All of it was preventable.

The only reason kids from these poorer districts and rural areas, by and large, don't or can't become biomedical engineers is because there's no one there to nurture and encourage them to do so. If anything, they're disuaded from achieving on that kind of scale. Let's not default to thinking inner city kids have to learn to use a soldering gun to get by in the world.

None could have been preventable. Russia/Putin was determined to invade. He has been working oni t since before 2014. Look at the resources NATO and US has poured into Ukraine, look at the hundreds of thousands of Russians dead, look at the lost equipment Russia has suffered, including the humiliation of having N. Korea helping it out. Yet Russia persists. It certainly would have been prevented by a supplicant like Trump, unless he told Putin to go ahead and take it we will not help Ukraine.

SOME POSTER ON HERE THOUGHT THIS GUY A GENIUS. WHO WAS IT UNCOACH?

The parallels are frightening, and informative at the same time. The President of Argentina is facing impeachment for having sucked a trusting public into a cryptocurrency that failed.
President Javier Milei briefly endorsed a cryptocurrency known as $LIBRA. On Friday night he took to X announcing the "Viva la Libertad Project." He claimed it would bolster Argentina's economy. The token's value soared and then crashed within hours. 8 users made off with bulk of the $4.5 billion market cap.
In Argentina it is illegal for public officials to advertise private ventures. It is here, too. 5 CFR § 2635.702. Trump breaks this law every day with his merchandise.
Melei's X post said, "This private project will be dedicated to encouraging growth of the Argentina economy." It was followed with a link to $LIBRA project.
Hours later, Milei deleted the post and replaced it with another. "I was not aware of the details of the project and after having become aware of it I decided not to continue spreading it."
Saturday, a statement was put out saying, "President Javier Milei has decided to immediately involve the Anti-Corruption Office to determine whether there is any improper conduct member of the national government, including the President himself."
It looks like that may have been a little too late. The damage was already done.
On Sunday, lawyers filed fraud charges against President Javier Milei for promoting a cryptocurrency on social media.

To be determined, I guess. He didn't try to invade Ukraine when Trump was in office. He waited until Biden was. That's all I can go off of until now.

Um, does anyone want to share with thestonedax that it literally didn't happen under Trump. So, yes we know it was preventable for a fact.

It was absolutely not preventable with Joetato and WordSalad running the USA.

Soldering guns beats current learning how to use revolvers versus semi-automatic pistols to get by in today's ghettos.

Nor did the half dozen terror groups funded by Iran or Stan and the rise of crude in Biden economics !

They can go to college and become the bio-chemical engineers. Nowhere in my post did I dissuade any student from achieving the office of the President of the United States. The point of K-12 is to prepare kids to be productive in life. It isn't a training center for college. I know kids who have went trades right out of HS and 4 years max they already own their own home, no college debt, etc. AI is going to take a lot of jobs away from humans. What AI can't do is service broken down vehicles or provide an oil change for that matter, build houses, replace shingles and build factories, fix McDonald's machinery, plant crops, manufacture computer systems, sell golf clubs, etc. Can Chat G P T fix the leak in my water pipes, change an electrical outlet, run some romex through a ceiling and make a floor outlet? Can AI go fishing or maintain off shore drilling facilities? When will AI fix our potholes? Notice I didn't mention Doctors. AI will solve many health issues, but as of now, they cannot fix broken bones or perform surgeries, let alone wheel a patient out of the hospital.

He is a genius. Look at the Argentinian economy an how quickly he flipped the switch and inflation was relieved. If he violated a law, he violated it. That doesn't change his policies that effing worked. Leftist goober gonna goober. Whodathunkit?

All of those are excellent points. What we shouldn't forget is technology has been revoltutionizing our world for a long time now and AI will just be the next episode. Every step of the way, the result has been more opportunities for people and an increase in the standard of living. It's important that schooling prepares students to take advantage of those opportunities, whatever they may be. It's not enough to think we'll just need them to learn to fill potholes or fix leaking pipes.

Ironic as Biden used immense power of US to persuade NATO to defend Ukraine, and provided huge sums and armaments to Ukraine. Trump is sucking up to Putin, rookie SOD selling Ukraine out in advance, and Trump scheduling peace talks without Ukraine invited.

It remains to be seen what happens the next 4 years. Trump says he wants peace, and wants the war to end. Who can end the war? I believe the answer is Putin. Why would he not go to Putin 1st, and ask him what it will take to end this war?

If he meets with Zelensky, he's just going to ask for more $ in an extended war. Trump wants to end it before going down that road. Why wouldn't he find out what Putin needs (not wants) to make that happen?

Because you don't announce in advance that Ukraine will not be allowed in Nato, and Russia will not have to give back seized lands. In other words Russia wins without negotiating.

Ya, that Biden is amazing. Russia is attacking a country in Europe's backyard and the US pays the lions share of the bill to defend them.

That Biden was so good!

Who really would win is the next million or more casualties that won't become casualties.
So the sole determinative to winning is preventing death. US should have let Japanese taken over US to avoid deaths. US should have surrendered when NAZI Germany declared war to avoid deaths. US would have won if we spoke Japanese west of Mississippi River and German east of it? Stupendously stupid.

Bad examples. The US was successful staying out of WW2 until Japan and Germany (and Italy, I think) declared war on us.

I didn't say the US should capitulate to Russia. I didn't even say Ukraine should capitulate to Russia. But if it's possible to avoid casualties in the millions and stop the fighting tomorrow, I can think of much worse outcomes. Throwing money and material at Ukraine will not get them their territory back, it'll only fill more body bags and ultimately put Ukraine back where it was 200 years ago--under Russian rule. And the US getting in a hot war with Russia could be cataclysmic beyond even what even the lustiest of warmongers could stomach. I know that won't sate your blood lust, but not everyone shares it.

You let Russia keep some of the territory it took in 20014, Mostly assimilated by now. Give back Crimea and anything taken over last 2 years. Russia is getting their ass kicked and embarrassed on the world stage as a not real military power. Their economy is crashing. They need to end the war as much as Ukraine, use that. Don't go in like Trump and the Fox News weekend anchor and say you will give Russia everything they want. And do not schedule talks without Ukraine there. That is how Trump killed Afghanistan, but I guess he didn't learn. You guys are scared of Russia that is a paper bear!

In DOGE news the following is happening:

The BIDEN GAO has now estimated that approx, up to 520 + BILLION dollars is FRAUD in the Federal budget.

The US census estimates that ONLY 80,000 people are 100 + in the USA TODAY !

The Social Security has the following numbers in their records:
20 Million people over 100.
3.9 Million people over 100 and between 130 - 139 years old.
3.5 Million people over 100 and between 140 - 149 years old.
1.3 Million people over 100 and between 150 - 159 years old.

There are "FAR MORE" (Elon) SS #'s issued, than people in the USA !

Take a maybe average of $ 20,000 Dollars going out yearly and you have MASSIVE fraud !

What's on the list of "everything Russia wants" that the US has promised them?

We'll see where this ends up compared to your list.
