..and in other news

(SIAP) So far I like Rubio more than I thought I would. My concern was he'd already been assimilated by The Borg to the extent that he wouldn't be willing to shine a light on something like USAID.

Trump failed at every venture he had. No need to list them. Then he found the ultimate grift--politics. The not so bright will send you hundreds of millions of dollars and you can spend it on anything you choose.

Incredible to see you admit this.

This has been happening for years. The Dems are upset because it’s getting exposed, and they can no longer spend it on anything they choose.

You forgot whom the leader/dictator of Venezuela is--Maduro. He agreed to take back tens of thousands of Venezuelan non criminal immigrants that escaped to U.S. to avoid Maduro. Now we are sending them back for him to do as he pleases. Victory! You MAGAs believe every Baghdad Bob lie you are told.

Why are so many of them committing heinous crime like assault, kidnapping, and murder if they were just coming here to escape bad leadership? Let me guess, the slumlords made them do it.

A lot more of them are working our streets than are working strawberry farms. I know some are upset that the women that are being sex trafficked will no longer be so readily available.

The corruption being exposed at USAID, followed by the Dem meltdown about possibly losing USAID, is something.

It is amazing how upset Dems get about corruption being exposed. They aren’t upset about the corruption itself though. Pretty telling.
It really is getting to the point where the more pronounced and breathless the wailing of gnashing of teeth from elements of the the left and the unelected bureaucracy, the better the policy (or the nominee) is for the nation.

I posted this over a year ago . They have a thinly veiled facade , a regime change organization masquerading as an aid organization . How many foreign elections have been interfered with?

You better Google and see how many millions$ the Trump family made while in Washington . See Trump Hotel as example
LOL. I thought you said he was a terrible businessman, but apparently he made an assload from a Trump Hotel? Here’s an article that clearly explains how Trump lost value being the President.

Not really all that much, the intraday low yesterday (DOW since it's what was mentioned above ) was down 2.5% from the intraday high last Thursday, which covers the entire event to date.

Other US indices may have been more or less volatile over the same period. Doing the same back of the envelope calculation on S&P/TSX gives down 4.5% on the Toronto exchange.

I, and I suspect most others here, have a been there, done that t-shirt from numerous much worse single days than that 3-day window where intraday highs and lows were cherry picked to make it look as bad as possible. Comparing Thursday's close to yesterday's close the drop is less than 1%.

Of course the story hasn't fully played out yet, but so far this is nothing special as far as market volatility goes.
Dow Jones lost 337 last Friday, was down 560 yesterday morning until Trump declared 30 day delay. Then it closed 122 down.

You believe most of the 30,000 Venezuelans are criminals?

Trump uses economic forces such as tariffs and sanctions as primary weapons. Tariffs also bring businesses back into the US. Long term success. All one has to do is look at the growth immediately southeast of Nashville. Nissan is in Smyrna. Very positive economic impact. Oh and well that originally started with Reagan’s policies of quotas and such. Foolish people like stonedhead complain about the stock market. The markets crashing is now the hope of getting that wascally wabbit, Twump. Pathetic.

I don't know about "most", but they are committing a shitload of crime, higher than other demographics. I think a high % end up doing criminal behavior when put out on the streets. That's what the NGOs did with them here. Put them in shithole apartments for 6 months and then put them on the streets. That's the "compassionate" Biden/Harris plan that we are abandoning.

The # of menacing, assault, theft, weapon, drug and murder charges brought against 40k Venezuelans in the last year in Denver/Aurora is staggering. I would not expect a town of 40k people to have anywhere near that amount of crime.

This is like the apartment complex thing. First you said it wasn't happening. Then it was happening, but just in a few apartments.

You originally believed that all migrant groups commit less crime than Americans, on average. Now that it's apparent that they commit a ton of crime, you have moved the needle to "most" not being criminals.

It's a good thing so many American people voted for Donald Trump in November. Had they sat out the election, this corruption would have never seen the light of day.

Rubio is doing well. But Rubio must do well because if he strays from the Trump agenda, he will be out of a job quickly.

It didn't say he got everything he wanted as he didn't, more Baghdad Bob crap.
I'm sure he got 90 percent of what he wanted - Canada and Mexico would collapse without the US. As with any negotiation, you demand a few things you never expect to get. With Panama, the mere threat of Trump lawfully retaking it was sufficient to get them to remove the Chinese with haste.

Bottom line is America is winning which means you too, Stone, are winning. Welcome to the team.

Stonedhead couldn’t breathe, if he wasn’t creating fallacious posts.

Yep, that's what happens when you have a boss. Don't care why he does good, just that he does good I suppose.

Rubio is very talented. Back in the day, @dtrain79 was a strong Rubio supporter. Funny, he gets to whine and complain about Trump for 9 years and counting, but thanks to Trump Rubio is in a very powerful position from which he could seek higher office someday.

Trump has created a winning coalition - can future R standard bearers keep it?

I didn’t forget anything. If people want to emigrate to the US, they can file the proper paperwork and get in line like the rest of us. You’ve squawked like a little girl spewing a lot of nonsense from your keyboard 2 weeks into an administration. You have no idea how all of this plays out in the next few years. I am hopeful we stop being overly concerned with Europe and pay attention to our own back yard and the Monroe Doctrine.
My Grandparents were both born in Scotland ! My Grandfather and his family were allowed into the US for his work on the Panama Canal.

Mary Anne's parents were from farms near Munich. They first met in Syracuse at American Citizenship Class.

Drano likes to spout his opinions, but doesn't recognize his heavy dose of TDS !
So all of his posts, EXCEPT his opinion of possible Assistant Football Coaches must be ignored !

After all his claimed profession is just a "practice" !

Warrants are very useful parts of IPO's and the stock market !

They can give value to the type of 'Units" of any IPO offered , in several ways !
To the initial investor, the secondary investors, the Registered Representative and the Company.

The chance of the underwritten company deriving income by their warrants being split from the IPO and being exercised !

The train and rill love the vax

So does Donald Trump

Older people are more likely to get the vaccine.

Older people are more likely to be unhealthy.

Your inability to think is unfortunate. Really brings down the quality of this thread.
LOL. You aren't old. The Train isn't old. Icky isn't old. Yet you all got it. You ASSume they are comparing apples with oranges. That would be truly useless and entirely invalid. The bottom line is the people who didn't get the death jab are healthier than the ones who did. Take the 20 something males - the unvaccinated don't have heart issues like many of their unfortunate peers - caused by the vax.

Your inability to accept what you have done to yourself is understandable.

As for bringing down the thread and being totally useful - the mirror says hello. You have whined and moaned and continue to whine and moan about the state of the country (the latest being US Aid) brought about by Joe Biden and Democrats. But being truly useless, you sat in the corner on November 5, 2024 - the one time you could actually DO something about it. That is why I at least respect Jeff for taking a stand.

This is the second time in 15 days the Trump administration has brought up using mRNA “vaccines.”

I keep remembering the number 26 ! Is this the number of flights this scum took with Epstein on the Pedophile Express !

Affair excuse doesn't cut the cheese, since his then Wife was aware of his sexual history with a past/current lover !

There is NO rational reason to be with Epstein for an extended period AFTER his sex conviction other then being a co-scummer !

It is estimated that around 85% of US adults took at least one shot. It was available without proper study of adverse effects because of Donald Trump and Operation Warp Speed.

Glen, If you are going to post.

You should be AWARE that President Trump, a real estate owner/builder developer and TV star, RELIED on Dr. Flip Flop, the highest paid Federal employee and THE ACKNOWLEDGED EXPERT at the time of the Wuhan virus.

That was pretty stupid.

Now he’s going to trust Larry Ellison and we’re supposed to pretend it’s a good idea this time.
