It is interesting that the X poster doesn't divulge that clip is from the 1st Trump election, when we heard lots of this sort of nonsense from the Left. Many of them promised to leave the country and I think we didn't get rid of single one.

Seems like in 2024 they have toned down their outward angst. It is still there and waiting to pounce. Trump from inauguration day in his 1st term was beset with incredible opposition from the Dems, the media, the Judiciary, the FBI, etc and still was a good president. He seems much more prepared this time and, fingers crossed, will drain some significant swamp.

Hmmm. I didn’t pick up on this being an old story, but I struggled to sleep last night, so I may have missed that. LOL. Currently many of these universities (UCLA is one of them) are allowing pro-Hamas protestors to threaten Jewish students on campus. That is more than enough to withhold federal funding.

And yes. Trump is much more prepared. The “resistance” is going to have a much more difficult time.

You might be right to rip off the band-aid and do one blanket pardon to be done and move on. Although the panel suggested would cushion the blow with a semblance of fairness, the left will have more time to overanalyze and vilify. I am guessing Trump does it the way you suggested. He appears to be less tolerant of leftwing critics than before and definitely will not be worried about the optics for reelection.

I think Train just despises Trump. I am not so sure he will disagree so much with how he governs. He definitely believed Trump would lead the GOP into massive election losses. Now that it didn't play out that way, I am guessing he will be more reasonable than the others you mentioned.

Pete WAS accepted for admission to enter West Point in 1999 graduation in 2003 !

He chose to matriculate to Princeton instead, same dates.

I chose neither West Point nor Princeton ! WP was all men at that time and I had not attended a co-ed school since 8th grade. P-ton the HC showed me around the campus , squeezed into the back of some type MG ! Late Friday night he drove past the Library and it was all lit up inside with students sitting by single desks by windows ! He was proud to tell me those were desks awarded to students with 3.5 or higher GPA. I just wanted a pitcher of beer !
